Match Cards
Prior to each game the Manager is required to fill in the Match Card. This involves
listing the initial of the first name and full surname of each player. For the teams
playing 9 year old and above, the registration number of each player is also to
be listed. Players 15 years old and above must include shirt numbers on the card.
At the bottom of the card the full names of the Coach and Manager are also to be
listed. All writing on the card is to be printed in pen (not pencil). The card should
not be removed from the Ground Control area.
At the end of the game the card is to be signed by either the Coach or the Manager.
In signing the card it is important to check that the card reflects the correct
score. The score should be recorded not only numerically, but also in words, eg.,
ONE-NIL. If the result is disputed, write this on the back of the card and advise
Ground Control, but still sign the card.
If the card is not correctly filled out the Club is fined by the Association for
each error. These fines range from $2 to $5 per error, thus it is important to fill
the match cards in correctly as money paid in fines is money that the Club cannot
spend on players.
